Good

The game graphics are cool, there is a lot of room for improvement here, but hey, it's a 3D flash game, so I guess is more than complicated here, but there is no excuse not to put a progress bar of the map, or a map, a speedometer... a more interesting HUD overall.

The sound effects are nearly non-existant, no engine suond, no buttons sound, no narrator, there is also a lot of improvement room here.

The music fits more in a "Driving Miss Dasy" kinda racing game, it should be more oriented towards a futuristic sci-fi tecnological hovering hi-tech cars racing game like this one :P

The gameplay is very nice for this kind of game, I have played other racing games and this one is very good in that aspect. Comparing it to F-Zero or Wipeout is natural due to its theme, design, etc, so your game will always be "not as good as f-zero", kinda difficult to be objective here for most people. But objectively, the AI is not that good, this alowed you to pick the hiPower/lowHandling car and just go forward being a little careful not hitting the walls and win easily.

Street Fighter 3 New generation comes to mind, like Capcom always did, the next, and the next afert that one will be huge improvements.

Looking forward to to xpr2 (and 3) I expect to see boosters, kickass music, more sounds (!), more cars, characters, and maybe some story :)

nice gameplay

Also, the modes of the gun where cool and stuff, good job there...

The story is ok, we have seen it a lot, but it is still good, and if you have a game with a story, it should be developed, at some ponit, it says something like "your distress signal has altered the monsters to haunt you or somthing, but, hopefully it was picked by someone and you might be rescued..." well, I got to level 21 and killed myself, it got boring and repetitive at that point.

Don't get me wrong, the game is good and entertaining, but a game that never ends is, well... boring after a while, even more if the enemies and the background and everything else is the same =/

So... from my point of view, the game could have some cut-scenes for story development and where the guy moves to anhoter place, wich would lead to different backgrounds and terrains, day/night/rain/etc conditions, and an ending if that's not too much to ask for, 20 levels are more than enough.

Neat

Great concept, graphics and sound, nothing but congrats in this area. And just like most people complain about the difficulty, I also think it is a bit high, not too much, but enough to make you angry because of the 2% - 3% away from the goal after like 10 tries in the elf level =/

Maybe an easy-normal-hard difficulty setting with different rewards for each could solve what seems to be the only downside of the game.

Great work!

meh...

It is extremely simplified, it's like playing those ancient games with no goals or checkpionts and that can go on forever if you are good at it (wich doesn't mean you will be enjoying it).

It if is aimed at kids (as it seems so), the graphics should be more polished, the sound of the engine should be more of a buzz, the sound of the baloons popping a lot more soft (instead of the machinegun effect you get for popping them in succesion) and a cool background music would be very much appreciated.

As simple the game is, you can enhance it by telling a story, it doesn't have to be a deep, complicated sicological drama, but something like "our hero monkey 'Bobo' needs to go to his friend birthday party across the valley, however, it's too dangerous for him to go by foot (paws), so blahblahblah...." then put in some cutscenes between the game's to 6 - 8 levels and trow in an ending with a few images of the monkeys partying.

Also, the achievements always add to the replay value of the game, and the score should be wotrh something like a better ending etc. A "combo baloon popping" would be nice too, 3 reds in a row, one of a kind in the whole level, etc...

-ok- with some "buts"

Well, the game is fun overall, but, when making a search game when you have to search for an icon, it should be always the same icon, with no color change or difusion or absolute blend with the bg (this pissed me off a few times).

And the most important aspect, is that if your game uses only .jpgs images in a 400 x 300 pixels area, ALL YOUR IMAGES SHOUL BE RESIZED TO 400x300 PIXELS IN YOUR .FLA FILE!! (from a bigger image)

I liked the music, it keept me clicking :B
